Tuscany wine degustation, or “dusting off” the last bits of debris left behind when you are racking your white, red, or rose wine, is not something that you have to look into, but it certainly makes for a better-tasting wine. The process of wine degustations is quite simple and mechanical.
It requires a couple of ingredients and a set of tools. You will need to have your air purifier, some plastic or mesh bags to catch the dust, and three or four plastic teaspoons with a rubber ring on the lids on them. Some pros might tell you that one tablespoon of sugar is also needed, but this is not strictly necessary.
Now, all that is left for you to do is to add the air purifier to your equipment and then attach it to the side of the bag. Now, you simply wait for the dust to settle and the particles to fall into the bags. This is usually about an hour, but it can vary depending on the weather and how dusty the day was.
Once this is done, it is time to gather up your bottles. The pros know that this is the most boring part of the entire process, but you don’t have to let this bother you. Just take some pictures before you put everything away so you know what you’re getting into.
The whole purpose of Tuscany wine degustation is to get the wine into its new storage condition. You don’t want the wine to be airborne or around other people and animals because that can affect the taste. The process is usually very easy and fun for both you and the pros, so you can at least look forward to one very pleasant evening. If you have never made this process before, then you should give it a shot. You may just find yourself getting hooked!
